The assault caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
